Siting at the urban fringe of Antananarivo, Madagascar, this design imagines a spiritual place for the traditional funeral practice at Madagascar, the Famadihana. With respect to the cultural pratice, the design also explores potentials to expand the imagined program with environmental restoring and appreciating activities. This was attained by the design with the help of abundant research on the local culture, demographics, and floral / fauna geographics.
